You can hear everyone screaming at the
Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada,
”USA-USA-USA” (as they chanted it several
times!). As Byron Wilson who went on to win
a BRONZE MEDAL in Freestyle Skiing Moguls
(Men). |
|
The Moguls event was held at Cypress
Mountain where snow had to be trucked in
from higher elevations for the event. Bryon
who has sacrificed a decade of commitment of
training for his sport with the culmination
of his efforts as he flew through the air
doing a “back double full” and then went on
to tear thru the moguls right in the middle
of the run. He then mastered a “D-spin”
which helped to earn him major high marks
for his amazing aerials. |
|
This was an incredible 30 second heart
pounding adrenaline bursting event that
Wilson totally mastered. |
|
While all of Canada watched Alex Bilodeau
collect the nation's first-ever Olympic gold
on home soil, everyone in Montana and Utah
watched Wilson live a dream by wearing
moguls bronze mere months after he seemed
unlikely to make the trip to Vancouver. "It
was amazing for me," Wilson said. "Coming
into this Olympics, I just wanted to come in
and have fun. I put down a run and it held
up for third place. So I'm really happy. |
|
"(Bilodeau) laid down a really good run.
Good for him. He definitely stomped it and
he was fast. Through my eyes, he deserved
it." Wilson is 21 years old from
Butte, Montana, and moved to Park City to
train. |
|
Unlike the significant financial resources
many of the freestyle skiers enjoy, Bryon
has made it to the Olympics on the support
of his family as well as the support of AGEL
ENTEPRISES. |
|
AGEL is so proud to have been a sponsor of
Bryon having made a financial contribution
to help Bryon with his amazing journey to
